MyFavi Autos is currently in pre-launch phase. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use information from our waitlist and, upon launch, from our full platform services.

MyFavi Autos LLC ("MyFavi," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains:

By joining our waitlist or, upon launch, using our website and mobile applications (collectively, "MyFavi Services"), you agree to the practices described herein.

a. Information You Provide
- Waitlist: email address and ZIP code for launch notifications.
- Registration (upon launch): name, email, phone number, address (optional), profile photo, and identity verification documents (required for listing vehicles or messaging sellers).
- Listings (upon launch): vehicle details (make, model, year, VIN, photos, price, description).
- Payment information: processed securely by our third-party payment processor for the $14.99 listing fee (we do not store your full payment details).
- Messages (upon launch): communication between buyers and sellers via our secure in-app messaging system.
- Feedback: ratings, surveys, and support inquiries.
b. Automatically Collected Information
- Device data: IP address, browser type, OS, and device identifiers.
- Interaction data: pages viewed, clicks, session duration, and feature use.
- Location data: We may collect your location data if you enable it in your device settings to provide location-based services.
c. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate and personalize our services. These help us remember your preferences, understand usage trends, and manage our marketing efforts. For example, we use Google reCAPTCHA which is essential for security and user authentication.

3. How We Use Your Information & Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- To Fulfill a Contract: To provide, maintain, and improve MyFavi Services, such as enabling identity verification, VIN verification, secure in-app messaging, displaying listings, and processing listing fees.
- With Your Consent: For sending marketing communications where you have given us explicit consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
- For Our Legitimate Interests: To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and unauthorized access, as well as to analyze usage to enhance features and performance. This includes using anonymized and aggregated data from our AI-powered pricing tool to improve its accuracy and provide better market insights.
- To Comply with a Legal Obligation: When required by law, such as in response to subpoenas or other legal requests.
4. Information Sharing
We only share personal information under these circumstances:
- Service Providers: With vendors assisting with hosting, identity verification, VIN verification, payment processing, secure messaging, analytics, and marketing. These vendors are bound by confidentiality agreements and are restricted to using the data solely for our purposes.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property, such as in response to subpoenas or fraud investigations.
- Business Transfers: In case of a merger, sale of assets, or other corporate change, your information may be transferred as a business asset.

Content you create, such as vehicle listings, photos, and public reviews, may be displayed publicly and used by MyFavi for promotional purposes. Private messages between users are confidential but may be reviewed by our team if a user reports a violation of our terms, a safety concern, or as required for legal investigations.

For highly sensitive information, such as Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) and identity verification documents, we apply stricter access controls. Identity verification is handled by trusted third-party services, and we do not store raw identity documents on our servers after verification is complete.
However, perfect security isn't possible online—please protect your account credentials and be cautious.
9. Children’s Privacy
MyFavi is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. International Data Transfers
If you are accessing MyFavi from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable laws by using appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.
11. Your California Privacy Rights

- You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected.
- You may request the deletion of your personal data.
